Hosted by AVN Hall of Famer Jenna Jameson, the weekly one-hour show will follow the search as adult starlets try to prove that they have what it takes to win the contest.
Like the first season, the show will once again be broadcast live before a studio audience with an online voting system. The winner will be crowned a Club Jenna Girl, joining Jameson’s troupe of contract actresses.
In January, adult fans selected Brea Bennett the winner in the show’s first season, which featured judges Ron Jeremy, Christy Canyon and Jim Powers. This time around, creators said that the panel of judges will include “Survivor” winner and reality TV star, Jenna Lewis, adult director Jim Powers and Jenna’s husband, Jay Grdina.
The second season kicks off with Roxy Jezel, Brooke Banner, Hailey Young and Naomi competing. At the conclusion of each weekly episode, viewers can visit either www.americansexstar.com or www.playboytv.com to vote for their favorite girl.

(20 votes) Loading ...Playboy’s acquisition of Club Jenna will not change the distribution of the company’s titles, said Bill Asher, co-chairman of Vivid Entertainment Group, which has distributed Club Jenna releases since its inception.
Asher elaborated on Thursday’s acquisition of Club Jenna Inc. (CJI) by Playboy Enterprises Inc. (PEI) by telling AVN that the Club Jenna brand will remain in tact, on products like the company’s box covers and websites.
“In terms of Playboy acquiring Club Jenna, the main impact will be that Playboy will now have access to all the Club Jenna material and be able to utilize all that content however they see fit, for things like their television shows and websites,” Asher said.
Asher added that co-owners Jenna Jameson and her husband Jay Grdina will continue to run their company as they have since they launched in 2000. “With this acquisition, Club Jenna will basically now become Playboy’s hardcore, adult business arm. They will be able to attach Jenna’s face to the Playboy brand.”
With the deal, Playboy Entertainment Group takes on Club Jenna’s assets which include a film production business, a library of video content, a network of web sites and DVD retail distribution.
“Jenna is a truly iconic figure in the adult industry and Jay is one of the best directors out there,” Asher continued, “so there is no doubt that this was a very smart business move.”
“If Hefner is the face of the old Playboy, Jenna will now be the face of the new Playboy, and frankly, that’s a much prettier face.” -AVN

The acquisition adds a premier and profitable brand to Playboy’s Entertainment Group business, with assets including a successful film production business, a library of video content, a network of web sites and a DVD retail distribution deal.
Christie Hefner, chairman and chief executive officer of PEI, said: “As a best-selling author, a personality whose name is among the most-searched on the Internet and the founder of a profitable business, Jenna is a uniquely successful talent. CJI is a very attractive business, which we believe will be both financially accretive and strategically complementary as we continue to execute our multi-platform strategy. This acquisition will allow us to diversify our content offerings in the domestic TV business, while, on the online side, also expanding their existing properties through our network of sites.”
“In an increasingly complex and competitive media environment, we know that the Club Jenna brand resonates with consumers. We are looking forward to working with Jenna and her husband, CJI President Jay Grdina, as they help further accelerate the growth of our digital media businesses,” Hefner said.
Both Jameson and Grdina have signed personal service agreements with PEI in conjunction with the acquisition.
“This move is very exciting for us,” said Jameson. “Jay and I are pleased to be part of the Playboy family and look forward to the potential that this brings to the table.”
“With the resources now available to us, we can bring Club Jenna to a level unprecedented in sophisticated entertainment,” said Grdina.
